Advik Hi-Tech partners with Japan’s Nikki to make CNG regulators in India

Advik Hi-Tech and Nikki representatives sign agreement
India / Japan - Pune-based Advik Hi-Tech Pvt Ltd1 and Nikki Co Ltd2 of Japan have signed a technology collaboration for manufacturing CNG regulators. This agreement aims to provide Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) mobility solutions to the Indian passenger car and commercial vehicle market at an affordable cost.
In a statement Advik Hi-Tech said the creation of an India-based partnership would enable Advik’s expertise to be leveraged to fully localise production and supply chain and offer ‘Made in India’ products to Indian OEMs at affordable costs. The new technology partnership will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of compact CNG regulators in India and to global markets. CNG regulators are used in CNG vehicles to depressurise and adjust the pressure of the gaseous fuel filled in the fuel tank before injection into the ICE.
