Dayco to build a new manufacturing facility in Mexico

Mexico / USA – Roseville, Michigan-based automotive component supplier, Dayco Products LLC has announced it is investing USD11.5 million in constructing a new manufacturing plant in San Luis Potosi city, San Luis Potosi State, Mexico, for manufacturing drive belts - the new facility is set to open in Q1 of 2024 and is expected to provide 100 direct jobs.

This is Dayco’s second plant in the state of San Luis Potosi, with the plant being built in the Parque Tres Nations industrial business park. According to the company, the new production facility is being built to fulfil increased aftermarket and light vehicle market demand from North America.
