Bandvulc invests in UK tyre re-tread plant

UK – Tyre re-tread company, Bandvulc Tyres Ltd, a UK-based subsidiary of Continental AG of Hanover, Germany, has made a substantial investment at its factory and headquarters in Ivybridge, by installing several ABC (Automated Build Cell) robots to drive greater operational efficiencies at the plant.

The design, development and installation of the robots used in the factory was undertaken by the Bandvulc engineering team as a part of the company’s three-year operational plan to introduce advanced and innovative tyre re-treading technologies that drive quality and productivity.
