ACEA elects Luca de Meo as new President for 2023

Luca de Meo, appointed ACEA President for 2023

Belgium – The Brussels-based European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has elected Luca de Meo, CEO of Groupe Renault, to serve as ACEA President in 2023, replacing outgoing BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) CEO, Oliver Zipse who has held the position for the last two years. Mr de Meo has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, working for Renault, Toyota, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Volkswagen Group, occupying positions in senior management, procurement and sales.
