Turkey / Indonesia – The Indonesian government signed preliminary agreements for several joint projects with Turkish companies in November, on the fringes of this year’s G20 summit on the island of Bali.

Among the business-to-business projects agreed in principle is a joint venture between Turkish bus manufacturer, Karsan (Karsan Otomotiv Sanayi ve Tic AŞ) of Bursa, and Jakarta-based PT Schahmindo Perkasa (Credo Group) to produce battery-powered buses in the country. Details of which models will be produced and where are yet to be decided.
