Ford to supply DHL with 2,000 electric vans

USA – Ford Motor Co, based in Dearborn, Michigan, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Deutsche Post DHL Group, to supply 2,000 last-mile electric delivery vans by the end of 2023, equipped with the Ford Pro fleet management telematics software that manages charge rate, optimal charge times and service alerts maximising range and battery performance.

The first batch of Ford E-Transit panel vans has already been delivered to DHL. The vehicles are manufactured at Ford’s Kansas City plant and according to DHL, the vehicles will operate in the Americas.
