Iveco Bus to supply 530 special purpose minibuses to São Paulo

Brazil - IVECO Bus Latin America Ltda of Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, Brazil – an Iveco Group subsidiary) has won a tender to supply the State of São Paulo with 530 Daily Minibus 45-170 minibuses as part of the state’s compliance with the Secretary of State for the Rights of the Person with Disability (SPD).

Iveco, which began delivering these minibuses in December, said the base van undergoes a sophisticated customization process to meet the special needs requirements. Inside, three spaces were prepared for people with reduced mobility and who use a wheelchair. They have anchor points and three-point harnesses. In all, more than 400 municipalities will receive vehicles that will be used by people with disabilities.
