VDL receives order for 193 electric buses

VDL Citea for EBS

Netherlands – VDL Bus & Coach BV of Valkenswaard, Netherlands has announced its largest order yet for electric buses: an acquisition of 193 units by Dutch public transport operator EBS.

The order is for two low-entry models from the Citea range of battery-electric city buses: 60 units of the LE-122 and 133 units of the LE-135. These are 12.2m and 13.5m buses respectively. These are set to serve the municipality of Waterland and the Zaanstreek region in the province of North Holland in the Netherlands. Deliveries are slated to begin in September 2023.
