ZF to produce electric parking brake in Limeira, Brazil

ZF's Electric Parking Brake

Brazil - ZF do Brasil Ltda of Sorocaba has announced it will manufacture Electric Parking Brake (EPB), part of its active safety system portfolio, at its plant in Limeira, São Paulo, Brazil. With this, the company becomes the first in the sector to produce the electric parking brake in Brazil.

Initially, production is to serve the SUV - sport utility vehicles - market in Brazil, with tentative plans to extend output to other vehicle segments such as light-duty trucks in Brazil as well as Argentina.
