Goodyear do Brasil and ZF do Brazil are to offer combined solutions for fleet and tyre management for passenger cars, commercial and industrial vehicles. This agreement effectively extends the companies’ agreement signed in Europe two years ago.

The second edition of this event (the first was led a year ago) is aimed at increasing collaboration with its supply chain partners to reduce carbon emissions.

With this announcement, ZF claims it becomes the first company in the sector to produce the electric parking brake in Brazil.

ZF do Brasil Ltda, headquartered in Sorocaba, São Paulo state, announced its parent company, ZF Group is the main drivetrain supplier to Higer Bus Company of Suzhou, China, for an electric bus that has started trials / tests with a city bus operator in the city of São Paulo; full scale operations of several electric Higer Bus buses are expected to start during the first half of 2022.

The launch follows ZF’s acquisition and integration of Wabco and its subsidiary companies including Wabco do Brasil Indústria e Comércio de Freios Ltda.
