BYD ships 304 heavy-duty electric trucks to India

BYD's Q1R battery terminal tractors ready for shipment to India

India / China – Shenzhen-based BYD Co Ltd, has announced the successful batch shipment of its 304 Q1R heavy-duty electric trucks to India’s largest port operator, the Adani Group, expected to arrive in February and be operational as port tractors in Q1 2023. The shipments were made to the Adani-run ports of Ennore, Katupalli, Hazira and Mundra and has been widely publicised as the first sizeable batch order for heavy-duty electric trucks for port operation in India.

Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, commenting on the order and truck delivery, said:
