Scania delivers its first Touring coach with locally made body in the Philippines

Sweden / China / Philippines – Scania AB of Sodertalje, Sweden says it has expanded its coach range in the Philippines with delivery of its first locally produced model, based on the Scania Touring coach.
The local Scania Touring is based on an imported chassis from Scania’s Chinese partnership facility at Higer Bus Co Ltd in Suzhou, China with a body produced and fitted by body builder, Del Monte Motor Works Inc of Quezon City, Philippines. The company has been in operations since 1950 and produces a wide range of vehicle bodies for several European and Asian truck and bus manufacturers.
