Germany – In December, Voith GmbH & Co KGaA, an industrial group based in Heidenheim an der Brenz, Baden-Württemberg and involved in papermaking, hydropower and drive systems development, announced its results for the 2021/22 financial year (1 October 2021 – 30 September 2022), reporting modest improvements in sales for the commercial vehicle sector.

The Group as a whole performed very well, with a 15% increase in sales (EUR4.88bn) and a 21% increase in group earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT), which totalled EUR200m. The strongest division by far was the papermaking business. Voith Turbo, on the other hand, represented a third of group sales but only a quarter of its total earnings.
