USA Tenneco Inc, an automotive components supplier based in Lake Forest, Illinois, was acquired by private equity firm Apollo Global Management Inc of New York City on 17 November 2022 for approximately USD7.1bn in cash.

When the acquisition was announced back in February 2022, Tenneco CEO Brian Kesseler stated that it would allow Tenneco to “continue to invest in and grow Tenneco's multiple segments and global footprint.” He has since been replaced by Jim Voss, who has served as an operating partner to Apollo Funds since 2012.
