Alexander Dennis receives first major order for its new Enviro400EV e-buses

UK – UK bus and coach operator, Stagecoach, has selected bus manufacturer, Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) based in Larbert, Scotland, to supply 55 Enviro400EV electric double-decker buses, destined for Oxfordshire in late 2023, partially funded by the UK’s ZEBRA scheme*. The 87-passenger capacity vehicle utilises a Voith Electrical Drive System and ADL battery system providing a range of 257 km (160 miles) on a single charge.
