The 17Xe ePowertrain by Meritor

USA / UKMeritor Inc, a subsidiary of Cummins Inc based in Troy, Michigan, USA, has started tests of its upcoming ‘17Xe ePowertrain’, an e-axle drive system for heavy trucks and buses in 6x2 and 4x2 configurations, at Millbrook Proving Ground in the UK.

It is integrated into a patented housing, with thermal management capabilities which Meritor claims are cutting edge.
