Navistar to invest over USD120m in Mexican plant expansion

USA / MexicoNavistar International Corporation, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Lisle, Illinois, USA, has announced it will be investing more than USD120m over the next three years to expand its truck assembly facility in Escobedo, Nuevo León, Mexico. 

The Escobedo Assembly Plant was opened in 1998 and has produced more than 850,000 commercial vehicles. Today, it is one of two facilities where Navistar builds its International eMV Series, a medium-duty battery-electric truck model.
