Ideanomics to distribute the Mahle chargeBIG EV charging infrastructure in North America

USA / Germany – Ideanomics Inc, a financial technology company based in New York City, has announced it has a 5-year exclusive contract for the North American distribution rights of Mahle GmbH chargeBIG 18-36 AC EV charging infrastructure, with orders beginning in Q2 2023 and delivery by Q1 2024. With over 1,500 chargeBIG charging points (suitable for LCV’s) supplied to more than 20 European customers, the product is dependable and demand for charging infrastructure is booming in North America, according to Ideanomics. This will complement Ideanomic’s recent acquisition of VIA Motors, with the chargeBIG infrastructure to be used as the preferred charging solutions provider for VIA's electric work trucks and vans. The chargeBIG 18-36 AC system has an inbuilt load management software that operates up to 36 individual charging points with a charging power of either 7 kW, 11 kW or 19 kW.
