ULEMCo to convert 35 vehicles to run on hydrogen in Aberdeen

Dual-fuel vehicles converted by ULEMCo

UKULEMCo Ltd of Liverpool, UK has announced a contract with Aberdeen City Council to convert fleet vehicles serving in the city to run on hydrogen with its dual-fuel technology.

ULEMCo says it is initially contracted to convert 35 vehicles, including waste collection vehicles and road sweepers. The contract offers scope for expansion to other utility trucks in the council area such as tippers. ULEMCo has also said that conversion, which involves installing the vehicles with its ‘H2ICED’ dual-fuel technology, can be carried out locally as well as at its site in Liverpool.
