Simone Montagna named new President and CEO of Scania's commercial operations in Brazil
Brazil – Italian, Simone Montagna is appointed as the new President and CEO of Commercial Operations at Scania Latin America Ltda in São Paulo and assumes the position as of March 1, 2023. Montagna, who was born in Milan in 1973 and who turns 50 years of age also in March, succeeds Sílvio Munhoz, who will become an advisor to the Brazilian factory and will report to Mats Gunarsson, executive vice president of Global Commercial Operations, based at the Scania headquarters in Sweden.
Montagna, prior to this appointment was financial director of Scania Banco until October 2020, when he was appointed to managing director of Scania Russia.
