South Korea – Hankook Tire & Technology of Seongnam-si, South Korea has published its 2022 financials with consolidated global sales of EUR 6,1 million, an increase of 17.5 per cent compared with EUR 5,278.7m. Operating profit increased by 9.9 per cent to EUR 519.9m (EUR474.6m).

Hankook said the results reflected strong and increased demand for large-diameter tyres, as well as a competitive pricing strategy. This was achieved despite difficult global market conditions, which saw increased prices of raw materials and global supply chain issues.
