Indian governmental departments collaborate to create a roadmap for development of EV batteries for the Indian market

India – Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST) of the Government of India, both in New Delhi, have collaborated in creating a platform designed to support the development of new electric vehicle (EV) batteries to meet the specific needs of the Indian market.
A white paper is to be prepared to create a roadmap for developing new battery technologies in India; this is to be be followed by the creation of an expert-industry forum to support this process.
