ConMet announces product expansion plans

USA – At the 2023 Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition hosted at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida between February 27 - March 2, US wheel hub manufacturer, Consolidated Metco Inc (ConMet), (part of Amsted Industries), of Vancouver, Washington, announced plans to expand its product range.
The new PreSet Plus wheel-ends efficiency package will be optimised with a proprietary low-drag seal and advanced bearings to further decrease resistance at the wheel end, improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. Furthermore, ConMet says it has developed a coated, flat rotor to improve corrosion resistance in high-heat brake rotor applications, reducing wear and tear while extending rotor life.
