Carrier starts pre-series production of Syberia eCool TRU for European electric truck market

France – Carrier Transicold SAS, based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, has started pre-series production of its new all-electric Syberia eCool temperature-controlled unit, designed for use in refrigerated urban delivery electric trucks, continuing the electrification of the company’s eCool series.
The first prototype of the all-electric Syberia eCool was unveiled at the IAA Transportation 2022 exhibition, held in Hanover in October last year. The all-electric Syberia eCool, Transicold states, is available now in limited quantities in both single and multi-temperature configurations and it is expected to be widely available to customers in 2024.
