USA / Canada – Motiv Power Systems Inc, a retrofit firm based in Foster City, California, USA has announced the extension of a partnership with courier Purolator Inc of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, agreeing to deliver 55 more electric delivery vehicles this year.
The relationship between the two companies goes back to 2021, when Motiv Power Systems retrofitted five Purolator vans with an electric driveline. Now, Purolator has ordered an additional 55 step vans, powered by electric drive systems assembled by Motiv Power Systems and fitted on Ford chassis. As part of the renewed partnership, Motiv Power Systems has agreed to send more employees to Canada to train Purolator’s drivers and provide maintenance services.
