Thailand’s CV market weakens in Q4 as GDP growth slows

Thailand - The Thai commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw declined by almost 5% to 108,498 units in the fourth quarter of 2022 from 113,953 in the same period of last year, according to data and some estimates from industry sources.

Thai economic growth slowed sharply in the fourth quarter of 2022, to 1.4% year-on-year after rebounding by 4.6% in the third quarter from weak year-earlier levels, with most major sectors of the economy slowing markedly including domestic consumption, investment and exports.
