USA– Chassis components supplier, Dana Incorporated of Maumee, Ohio, USA, has announced plans to reach net zero by 2040, accelerating its plans to reduce 75% of its current greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030.

To achieve this goal, renewable energy projects supplying each of its major facilities with green clean renewable energy will gradually reduce the company’s carbon footprint. Earlier this year Dana signed a renewable power purchase agreement with Italian energy supply company, Enel Green Power SpA, for an upcoming solar project in Spain. The project starts in 2025, supplying Dana with 240,000 megawatt hours of renewable energy per year, offsetting 100 percent of Dana's emissions from purchased electricity in Europe.
