Iveco Bus supplying 238 buses to Italian transport operator in Sardinia

Italy – Iveco Bus (a brand of the Iveco Group NV) based in Turin, is in the process of delivering 238 Crossway class II (12 metre) buses to the Italian Sardinian-based public transport company, ARST, with the first 144 having been delivered in March and the remaining 94, being shipped in June 2023.
ARST stated it has purchased these vehicles for intercity transport and the Crossway model had been chosen due to its performance, energy efficiency and low emissions as well as driver and passenger comfort. The bus has 51 seats and is equipped with the 360 hp Cursor 9 Euro VI engine, an automated gearbox, video surveillance, geolocation and next-stop announcement.
