Van Hool receives 54-unit electric bus order for Netherlands

Belgium / NetherlandsVan Hool NV of Koningshooikt, Antwerp, Belgium announced it has received an order for 54 15-metre battery-electric buses from Qbuzz BV, a public transport company based in the Netherlands. 

Van Hool will supply 54 units of the ‘A15LE E’ line of buses which are powered by two ZF ‘Axtrax’ wheel hub motors (2 x 140kW) and Akasol batteries providing up to 686 kWh energy capacity. They will be branded as ‘Qliner’ buses and will serve in regional transport applications in the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe. Each bus will carry up to 55 seated passengers.
