Schmitz acquires minority stake in Australian trailer manufacturer MaxiTrans

Germany / Australia – Schmitz Cargobull AG of Horstmar, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany has acquired a 26% minority stake in the Australian Trailer Solutions Group Pty Ltd, a holding group which owns semi-trailer manufacturer MaxiTrans of Wendouree, Victoria, Australia.

According to the Executive Chairman of MaxiTrans, Greg L’Estrange, Schmitz’s investment in the group will pave the way for shared technological development and operational support as MaxiTrans grows its business. No further details regarding the investment have been disclosed.
