Denso, Toyota and Electreon to develop wireless vehicle charging technology

Japan / Israel - Components giant, Denso Corporation of Kariya, Aichi Prefecture, Toyota Motor Corporation of Toyota, Japan and Tel Aviv-based Israeli firm, Electreon Wireless Ltd have partnered to jointly develop wireless vehicle charging technology for both passenger and commercial vehicles.
In order for such technology to be embraced it will require the integration of wireless technology into new commercial vehicles sold onto the market in the future and, it will also require collaboration with governments to create a standard for wireless electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
