USAPeterbilt Motors Company, a subsidiary of Paccar based in Denton, Texas, has announced it is partnering with Lincoln Educational Services Corporation (“Lincoln Tech”) of Parsippany, New Jersey to offer service technician training in Nashville, Tennessee from this summer.

Lincoln Tech is a group of vocational colleges located across the country. Its ‘College of Technology’ in Nashville was formerly the Nashville Auto Diesel College. Students enrolled there will be able to apply to the Peterbilt Technician Institute programme, providing twelve weeks of training. The curriculum covers servicing of Paccar MX engines, electrical systems, and braking and suspension systems. The programme will provide students with nine factory-trained technician credentials, which Peterbilt claims will help fast-track them to careers at one of its North American dealerships.
