Mexico / USANavistar International Corporation, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Lisle, Illinois, USA, celebrated the 25th anniversary of its vehicle assembly plant in Escobedo, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Since the facility was opened in 1998, Navistar has produced nearly 880,000 truck and bus chassis in Escobedo. A number of International-branded trucks are assembled here, including the HX Series, the LoneStar, the LT Series, and the RH Series. Escobedo is also one of two places where Navistar builds the eMV series of battery-electric trucks, which it claims is the only fully-electric truck range made in Mexico.
