MAN celebrates 100,000 production milestone for TGE

100,000 milestone celebration for MAN TGE

Germany / PolandMAN Truck & Bus SE, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, celebrated the 100,000th ‘TGE’ van to roll of the production line in Poland, while announcing at the same time extra customisation options through its ‘MAN Individual’ van conversion service.

A rebadge of the Volkswagen Crafter, the MAN TGE entered series production in 2017 at the VW plant in Września. In 2021, MAN opened a facility in Sady for customising and modifying TGE vans according to the customer’s specification. Longstanding options include box bodies, tipper bodies, minibus variants, and rack extensions for workshop trolleys. Another option is four-wheel drive: 3,540 4x4 TGEs were delivered last year, according to MAN.
