Suspensys opens new production area dedicated to electromobility technologies

Brazil - Commercial vehicle axle and suspension systems manufacturer, Suspensys Sistemas Automotivos Ltda of Caxias do Sul, (a Randon Group subsidiary) on April 12 inaugurated a new production unit dedicated to electromobility, under the name, Suspensys E-Mobility.
Installed at the company's headquarters in Caxias do Sul (RS), it marks the company's entry into the new business segment electromobility, where it plans to manufacture a range of products including electric axles (see Randon Hybrid (R) e-Sys article – an electric auxiliary traction system for semi-trailers), as well as undertaking battery assembly for light, medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles and other mobile applications – details of which are due to be announced in May.
