Ford offers 10-speed automatic transmission with Ford Transit van and minibus in Brazil

Ford Transits now available with 10-speed automatics.

Brazil - Ford Motor Company do Brasil Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo State, has introduced its Ford Transit to the Brazilian market with the option of a ten-speed automatic transmission for the first time. Two models are currently available, the Ford Transit van and Ford Transit minibus, with a chassis cowl version to come later in the year.

The new key feature is the 10-speed automatic transmission with torque converter as an option to the six-speed manual gearbox fitted as standard in all models.
