Cruden delivers driver simulator to the Technical University of Munich

The Cruden AS2 simulator

Germany / Netherlands  – Amsterdam-based developer of driver simulators, Cruden BV, has installed an automotive simulator at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) simulation facility in Munich, Germany. The Cruden AS2 simulator is to be used to research  lane-free traffic developments with connected autonomous vehicles with the aim of developing lane management flows for autonomous vehicles.

The university will be able to simulate realistic driving scenarios and examine how drivers and automated vehicle passengers react to different traffic situations and road layouts using the new simulator. A distinctive feature of the simulator is its capability to seamlessly switch between human-driven and automated driving modes, providing a unique and dynamic simulation experience.
