Hino rolls out new 200-Series across South-east Asia

The Hino 200 series

Japan / Philippines - Truck-maker, Hino Motors Ltd (a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Company) of Hino-shi, Tokyo, began to roll out its smallest truck yet in markets across South-East Asia in the first quarter of this year. The company claims the versatile 200-Series is particularly well suited for local deliveries in narrow, windy urban streets and in basement car parks.

The Tokyo-based company said the new 200-Series was designed under the company’s ‘Best Fit Products’ concept, which aims to provide trucks that are best suited to the needs of local markets. The truck has a low cabin, with a height of just 2-metres, giving good access to restricted height areas such as shopping malls and office basements.
