SK opens first dedicated hydrogen refuelling station in South Korea

SK Energy's first public hydrogen refuelling station for CVs.

South Korea - SK Energy Company Ltd, the oil refining and retailing unit of South Korea’s SK Group, in April opened the country’s first dedicated hydrogen refuelling station in the southern city of Ulsan, as the country steps up its transition towards low and zero emission vehicles. (This is different to other plants, which are ‘private’ return to base operations, like the H2 refuelling station at Incheon airport).

The Seoul-headquartered company said the SK Hydrogen Station is located on a key highway near the city of Ulsan because there are significant numbers of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks operating in the area.
