Isuzu launches EVision – a customer-focussed aid to buying a BEV

Isuzu ELF and ELF EV trucks

Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd, headquartered in Japan’s Yokohama Prefecture, announced the launch of its EVision total solution programme designed to support customers in the buying process and aftersales expectations of buying battery-powered electric vehicles (BEVs). Its launch came just days after the launch in Japan of the company’s first mass-produced the Elf (N-Series) battery powered truck, which will start production this summer.

In a statement, the company said: “We have developed the total solution programme, ‘EVision’ to support customers considering commercial BEVs.” It began operating the programme in late March. The support provided through ‘EVision’ includes finding solutions to EV introduction issues, quantifying the CO2 emission reduction benefits and proposing further decarbonization means on the way to carbon neutrality.
