Bosch to realign its automotive-supply business

Germany – Dr Stefan Hartung, the chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH, based in Stuttgart, Germany, announced at a recent press event, the company was restructuring its automotive-supply business, Bosch Mobility, which it will now manage as its own business unit with its own designated five-strong leadership team headed by Dr Markus Heyn. Heyn will be responsible for all aspects of the vehicle software and mobility services operations.

With this growing sector of the business, the aim is to have a dedicated team serving existing customers and growing the mobility business, with projected sales revenue reaching some EUR 80 billion by 2029. With some 230,000 associates at more than 300 locations in 66 countries, Bosch Mobility is expected to be the biggest of Bosch’s four business sectors (Mobility, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology).
