Another GBP 58 million funding package for Scottish-built zero-emission buses

ScotZEB 2 launch at Alexander Dennis headquarters

UK – The Scottish Government has launched the second phase of the Scottish Zero Emission Bus Challenge Fund (ScotZEB*), with up to GBP 58 million in funding to incentivise bus operators to purchase zero-emission coaches. The second phase of funding includes the eligibility of coaches to community transport providers, to accelerate the transition to net zero. The first phase helped deliver 276 zero-emission buses to Scottish roads. The announcement took place at the Alexander Dennis global headquarters and factory in Larbert, Scotland.
