Volta Zero makes U.S. debut, to be fitted with EAVX bodies for pilot programme

USAVolta Trucks AB of Stockholm, Sweden showcased its ‘Volta Zero’ battery electric truck for the first time in the United States at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo in Anaheim, California, held between 1-4 May, and announced a partnership with J B Poindexter & Co of Houston, Texas. 

Volta Trucks showcased its 16-tonne model at its stand in order to promote a “Driving Experience Programme” in California which is launching later this year. Operators will have the opportunity to test and evaluate a pilot fleet of trucks in their own business operations. The aim is to start selling production vehicles to U.S. customers in the following year.
