DAF delivers 7 electric refuse collection trucks to Eindhoven

Netherlands – Dutch truck manufacturer, DAF Trucks NV, has delivered 7 of a total of 14 fully electric 6x2 DAF CF refuse collection trucks to Cure Waste Management, which will collect household refuse in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The rest of the delivery is scheduled to be completed in Q3 this year. These vehicles are equipped with fully electric VDL side loaders, which allow waste containers to be emptied easily into the body of the truck. The CF Electric has a 210 kW (240 kW peak power) electric motor powered by a 350 kWh (315 kWh effective) battery pack enabling a range of 200 kilometres on a full charge.
