Hyva reaches three million cylinders milestone

Netherlands – Hydraulic crane and hook-loader specialist, Hyva Holding BV of Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, celebrated the production of its three millionth hydraulic telescopic cylinder. Production began in 1981 and then 30 years later, in 2011, the company hit its one-million-cylinder milestone. In almost a third of the time it took to reach a million, Hyva has since trebled its output. Today, it has 13 production facilities located in five countries of Germany, Brazil, India, China and the Netherlands. The hydraulic cylinder is seen as Hyva’s core product, used on tipper trucks in the construction, agricultural and mining industries.
