Anadolu Isuzu talks Big e project and displays CNG bus at UITP

Spain / Turkey –Anadolu Isuzu (Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ*) of Istanbul was out in full force at this past UITP Global Public Transport Summit in Barcelona from the 5th to the 7th of June. The T&BB team was in attendance to bring you the company’s latest news, which included the latest electric bus models, the Citiport CNG bus and the Big e electric truck prototype, which is set to be completed in the second half of next year.

The company had four vehicles on display including two full electric vehicles, the 12m Citivolt bus, and the midi NovoCiti Volt, Citiport CNG and the Big e prototype mini truck. The Big·e delivery vehicle offers a volume of four cubic metres, a load capacity of 1000 kg, and a range of up to 150 km on a single charge. The battery can be charged using a standard socket and a full charge can be reached within three and five hours. Available in 2024, the Big·e features Brist axles and will be produced at Anadolu Isuzu's production facility in Çayırova, Turkey.
