Fuso reorganises vehicle and parts distribution operations

Mitsubishi-Fuso’s new parts distribution centre in Sachiura

Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), headquartered in Kawasaki City in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture, held a ceremony for its new component distribution centre in Sachiura, Yokohama City, which is part of a broader efficiency drive within the company’s aftermarket operations in Japan.

The new distribution centre replaces the existing facility in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, which had been the company’s main parts distribution hub since it was first opened in 1978. Until recently it supplied on average of 19,000 components per day to customers across Japan and to overseas distribution hubs including the Daimler Truck Parts Centres in Hatten (France), Chennai (India) and Dubai (UAE), as well as distribution centres serving Mitsubishi Fuso’s 170 export markets.
