Master Transportation Bus builds electric bus plant in Taiwan

MasterTrans bus - to build new plant for e-bus production

Taiwan / Japan – Bus builder, Master Transportation Bus Manufacturing Ltd (MasterTrans) of Taipei, Taiwan, following a ground-breaking ceremony earlier this month, has begun construction of a new plant in Changhua County dedicated to the production of battery-powered buses to target growing local and overseas demand for such vehicles.

MasterTrans is investing around NTD2.5bn (USD82m) to build a 20-hectare manufacturing complex in the Central Taiwan Science Park in Changhua County, Taiwan, where it also plans to establish a component supply chain for its electric buses.
