Schmitz inaugurates new semi-trailer plant near Zaragoza, Spain

Spain /Germany – On 1 June, Schmitz Cargobull AG of Horstmar, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany inaugurated a new plant for semi-trailer production in Figueruelas, near the city of Zaragoza in Spain.

The new site covers an area of 104,000 square metres. 20,000 square metres are dedicated to production and logistics, office space, and distribution. Here, Schmitz will build ‘S.CS’ curtainsiders, ‘S.KO’ dry freight semi-trailers, and reefers for customers primarily in Spain, Portugal, France, and North Africa.
