USA – As part of its transformation towards eMobility, CV powertrain components giant, BorgWarner Inc of Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA, has officially unveiled a new logo, which it suggests is more representative of its “Charging Forward” strategy, with a target of having at least 25% of its revenues from sales of components and systems to battery electric vehicles (BEVs) by 2025.

Borgwarner says this is the first time the logo has changed in three decades, signifying a marked change in the company’s history. Announced in 2021, the strategy has involved the purchase of over five companies in the battery pack, e-motor, power electronics, and direct current fast charging spaces during the last 24 months.
